With over 30 years of experience in international relations, education, and cross-cultural communication, I bring both depth and enthusiasm to my tutoring practice. I specialize in conversational Spanish, Latin American political systems, and Hispanic cultural studies, tailoring each session to the student's goals, level, and learning style.

My approach to teaching is immersive and engaging. In conversational Spanish sessions, I often incorporate topics I value deeply, such as literature, gastronomy, and music, to create a learning experience that is both linguistically enriching and culturally vibrant. Outside of academia, I enjoy exploring global cultures and travel. I'm also active in community service and advocacy, particularly around migration and human rights. These experiences enrich my perspective and allow me to connect meaningfully with students from all walks of life.
