Certified Tutor
There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student's face light up when a difficult concept finally clicks. My passion for tutoring stems from a deep belief that every learner has incredible potential, sometimes they just need the right guide to help them unlock it. I love breaking down complex ideas into clear, engaging lessons tailored to each student's unique learning style, because education shouldn't feel like a struggle, it should feel like discovery.
Throughout the years in university, I've helped peers build confidence in subjects ranging from math, physics, chemistry and biology. My academic background includes a Associates degree from Douglas, as well as currently studying for my Bachelors in Biomedical Physiology. This is where I honed both my subject expertise and my ability to explain challenging material in relatable ways. Whether I'm simplifying calculus problems or guiding a student through balancing chemical equations. I focus on fostering understanding, not just memorization.
My tutoring style is patient, adaptive, and interactive. I believe the best learning happens through dialogue, so I ask questions, encourage curiosity, and use real-world examples to make lessons stick. My goal isn't just to improve grades, it's to equip students with critical thinking skills and a genuine appreciation for the subject. My favorite topic to tutor is math because as I grew up, I realized how powerful it is in shaping our world, from algorithms in technology to financial planning, even the way we interpret data in everyday life. Math isn't just numbers; it's the language of problem-solving, and I love helping students see its relevance beyond the classroom.

When I’m not tutoring, you’ll find me practicing piano, reading self-improvement books, learning to code or most likely, studying for my own exams. These passions remind me that learning extends far beyond textbooks—and that curiosity is the best teacher.
