Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of The University of Toledo. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and my Bachelor of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies with a concentration in Sexuality Studies. I've spent the last three years tutoring students at the college level assisting them with their English academic writing skills through a variety of subjects (Composition 1 and 2, Women's and Gender Studies, Science, History, Literature, and more). I am most passionate about subjects within Women's and Gender Studies and have extensive experience helping students through Composition courses. With my experience within the Creative Writing program, I have extensive knowledge on the fundamentals of short story writing and poetry and have great passion for such subjects. Tutoring and being an educator has been my favorite thing to do and I really enjoy helping students learn in the way that fits right for them. Tailoring my tutoring to fit student's learning abilities is something I love, as I want to ensure everyone is able to learn despite any challenges that may arise. Outside of tutoring, I am an avid reader of Young Adult Fiction and writer of poetry.

I am interested in the writing of poetry and love to read. I used to be a dancer for about a decade, doing ballet, modern, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, and more.
