I'm Jeni, a writing, ESL, and French tutor. My approach to language tutoring is to be a good listener and an encouraging presence.

I have my bachelor's degree in journalism and French. My three years of classroom teaching experience as an English assistant teacher in France guide my 1-1 lessons. I have tutoring experience giving homework help and test prep lessons at the university level for beginner and intermediate French. I also have English as a Second Language experience teaching middle and high school students conversational, grammar, and writing skills.

My personalized language lessons blend conversational skills with writing and reading. I'd love to tutor you in anything English- or French-related!

Outside of tutoring, I love traveling. I've visited 16 countries so far, and my favorites were New Zealand and Greece! I love daily journaling, reading fantasy and romance, and cooking stir fried rice. In the past, I loved dance, theater, and choir.
