As a dedicated and passionate elementary school teacher with four years of experience teaching 5th grade, I bring a well-rounded and enthusiastic approach to online tutoring. I graduated from James Madison University in 2020 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and a minor in Elementary Education. Then, I got my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from James Madison University's Graduate School in 2021 in Elementary Education.
I have taught all core subject areas (math, science, social studies, reading, writing, and spelling) and I thrive on helping students grow in both their skills and confidence. My classroom experience has taught me how to tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs, whether a student needs foundational support or enrichment opportunities. I strive to create a warm, engaging, and structured environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and take ownership of their learning.
While I enjoy teaching every subject, my greatest passion lies in mathematics. I hold an Algebra I endorsement and love guiding students through math concepts in ways that make sense and spark curiosity. I believe in making math approachable, fun, and relevant, helping students build both skill and a sense of accomplishment. I'm excited to support learners on their academic journey through personalized, results-driven tutoring sessions.

Outside of teaching and tutoring, I love to stay active and be outdoors. Running and playing soccer help me to de-stress. I also love to read- it's a great way to relax and keep learning. In addition, I have a passion for cooking and love trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Whether I’m out on a run, cooking a meal, or spending time with friends and family, I value balance and connection in my everyday life—something I also bring to my teaching approach.
