I am passionate about learning and sharing linguistic and digital skills. I can be of assistance to you in two main categories -- English Language and Computer Programming!

I am a student in the Software Development program at Mohawk College in my second year, working towards getting a Bachelor of Technology in Software Engineering through a bridge to McMaster University.

In my time at school, I'm actively learning such skills as:
Python, HTML & CSS, JavaScript, Java, Programming in .NET with C#, Database Design and SQL, Networking Fundamentals, Computing Math, Technical Specification Writing, Systems Analysis and Design, Object-Oriented Thinking, Discrete Math, Statistics, Software Testing, Project Management, and Contemporary Ethics, with much more still to learn.
I would love to share what I know and try to help you out in related subjects.

In addition to my software skills, I've been a Writing Tutor for about a year now, having helped many students with a variety of assignments across a wide range of different subjects. In my role, I provide guidance with writing structure and flow, brainstorming, written and spoken linguistic exercises, idea organization, clarification of assignment objectives, thesis development, and vocabulary expansion. I have also helped many ESL students develop their confidence and skills in English.

My tutoring style and philosophy is all about asking questions and making sure that I'm not just teaching, but actively engaging you in the learning process. In my view, questions are the rungs of the ladder towards higher knowledge. If I don't see you developing the skills you want to develop as we go, I feel that I've failed in my role.

Outside of academia I am really interested in researching astronomy and learning about the wonders of the cosmos, and I enjoy getting outdoors for activities like hiking and biking.
