I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in biological systems, anatomy, physiology, and chemistry, and I am passionate about helping students build their understanding and confidence in these subjects. Through my experience as a teaching assistant and marker for first-year Biology and Chemistry courses, I have worked closely with students to help them develop both scientific skills and critical thinking abilities.

I tutor a range of science subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, and introductory Neuroscience. My favorite topics to teach involve human body systems, homeostasis, and the nervous system because I enjoy showing students how these complex processes connect to everyday life.

My teaching philosophy is centered around patience, adaptability, and making learning interactive. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, and I strive to adjust my approach whether through visual aids, real-world examples, or step-by-step problem solving to make sure each student feels supported and motivated. I aim to make challenging material approachable and to empower students to take pride in their learning journey.

Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, especially romance novels, dancing, listening to science podcasts, and staying active through fitness. I believe that maintaining a balance between academic goals and personal passions creates a positive, well-rounded approach to both learning and life.
