My name is Theresa Worden, and I hold a Master's degree in Teaching from Marian University. With over 3 years of experience as a dedicated elementary school teacher, I specialize in reading, math, and foundational skills for young learners, including Orton-Gillingham reading and phonics. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are by using assessments to tailor instruction to their unique needs. I am particularly passionate about teaching reading, as I believe that strong literacy skills are essential for lifelong learning. I find joy in witnessing those "A-ha!" moments when a student grasps a challenging concept. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and exploring new educational strategies to enhance my practice. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
