I am an Engineer-turned-Human Resource professional-turned-Educationist with a Management Degree in HR from Mumbai University and over 12 years of diverse experience across recruitment, test training, mentoring and communication coaching. I specialize in tutoring English across school curricula and preparing students for competitive entrance exams such as the GMAT, GRE, SAT, CAT, BBA, Law entrance tests, IELTS and more.
After 6 years managing national and international hiring, I was helping a friend prepare for an interview with a coaching institute when I discovered my own flair for coaching, especially English training. That began a very rewarding 7-year journey in Coaching and Mentoring, helping hundreds of students in Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, English Grammar, Vocabulary, and Essay Writing, while also helping them sharpen their resume-building, interview, and communication skills. My background in recruitment gives me a unique edge- I not only understand what top universities and recruiters look for, but I also know how to prepare students to meet those expectations. I am also known for my professionalism, and I am savvy with online teaching and training tools, having taught entirely online throughout the pandemic and after.
At IMS Learning Resources, a leading test-prep institute in India, I led academic delivery, created engaging verbal content, and managed student progress and branch operations for over six years. My sessions are known for being practical, empathetic, and result-oriented.
