I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Security at York University. I have experience tutoring students in Calculus and enjoy helping others gain confidence in math and computer science topics. My interest in tutoring began when I started assisting peers in both high school and university, and later led to a paid role where I tutored a university student one-on-one. That experience taught me how rewarding it is to explain complex concepts in a way that truly clicks for someone else.

I tutor subjects such as Calculus, Statistics, Discrete Math, and programming basics like Java, HTML, and CSS. I especially enjoy tutoring math because I love showing students how to break down what initially feels overwhelming into manageable, understandable steps. It's a great feeling when a student realizes, "I actually get this now."

My tutoring style is very adaptive and student-centered. I start by understanding how a student learns best whether visually, step-by-step, or through examples and tailor the lesson accordingly. I believe in being patient, approachable, and breaking down each topic with clarity and encouragement. I also like to make sessions interactive and check in regularly to ensure the student is following along comfortably.
