Hello, my name is Carolyn Thomas, a passionate educator with 20+ years of experience working with children from the ages PreK to High School. I have an Early Childhood Education Degree from Wilson Community College, Wilson, NC; a Management and Communications Degree from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY; and a Public Health Degree with a Community Health concentration from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN; along with two other degrees in Paralegal and Secretarial Science.
I have a strong administrative and teaching background that comes from my many years of working in an office setting and teaching or assisting in a school setting. My teaching style is interactive and engaging, focusing on personalized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs.
I am dedicated to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where children can thrive. My passion is working with children ages 4 8 and my subjects are Math, Language Arts (including Phonics, Reading, Writing, Handwriting, and Spelling), and Social Studies. I am excited to share my knowledge and help you achieve your academic goals.
