I am a student at Utah State University working toward my BA in Political Science along with certificates in Global Peacebuilding and Leadership and Diplomacy. I specialize in ACT tutoring, specifically the English sections, as well as English in general---writing, reading, and grammar.
I love to teach writing because I think that it is an important skill that helps people communicate their thoughts and ideas. I am passionate about helping students become better learners and find ways for them to learn to help develop strategies to consistently master new skills. I believe that tutoring is not about helping students do better but creating students that can learn better.

When I'm not tutoring, you can find me playing the guitar and singing probably a bit too loudly. I love the outdoors, whether it be jumping into bodies of freezing water, or looking for and identifying bugs. I love to listen to music and learn about the history that surrounds it. I am super interested in international relations and peacebuilding, and I hope to one day join the foreign service. Fun facts about me: I can wiggle my ears, and I love cilantro!
