A strong passion for writing, research, and learning has shaped my academic journey and inspires my work as a tutor. I am a graduate of Coastal Carolina University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Geography as well as Intelligence and National Security. Throughout my studies, I gained extensive experience in academic writing, research, and data collection. I also served as a research assistant, working on a project focused on the Shikoku pilgrimage in Japan, where I helped create a virtual tour and contributed to writing peer-reviewed publishable research papers. I specialize in tutoring Writing, English, Literature, Anthropology and Research Methods, and I am particularly passionate about helping students build strong writing skills.

I have also had success in helping students prepare for the writing portions of standardized tests, seeing remarkable progress and increased confidence among those I have worked with. My tutoring philosophy centers on collaboration, patience, and empowerment. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to express their ideas, ask questions, and strengthen their academic abilities.

I adapt my approach to each students individual needs, helping them not only achieve success in their current coursework but also build skills that will serve them long after our sessions end. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking, playing soccer, and exploring a variety of arts and crafts projects, I look forward to working with students at all levels and helping them grow as writers, researchers and critical thinkers.
