Certified Tutor

I am passionate about helping students because I love being a part of their learning journeys, especially with those breakthrough moments when they gain confidence and realize what they're capable of. My experience includes working with children in early childhood and elementary settings, both one-on-one and in group environments. These experiences have helped me develop a strong understanding of how to support different learning styles and needs.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior Division with a specialty in Early Childhood. This program has equipped me with the tools to nurture foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. I tutor subjects such as reading, writing, language arts, elementary math, and social studies. Language arts is my favourite subject to tutor because I enjoy helping students discover their voice and use it to express their thoughts and creativity.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in patience, encouragement, and adaptability. I strive to create a positive, low-pressure space where students feel safe to make mistakes, explore ideas, and grow.
