I'm passionate about helping students because I believe learning can be an empowering, confidence-building experience when supported in the right way. I love seeing students have "aha" moments and grow into independent learners who feel capable and motivated.

After graduating from the University of South Florida with a degree in International Relations and a minor in Chinese, I spent six years living in China, teaching English, History, and Geography at a bilingual school in Nanjing and Shanghai. I also speak Chinese, which has helped me better understand the challenges of language learning, especially when it comes to building confidence in speaking.

I specialize in tutoring ESL, writing, reading comprehension, and social studies. I especially love helping students build their speaking skills, because I know it's often the hardest area to practice. Whether we're working on pronunciation, conversation skills, or academic presentations, I focus on creating a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable speaking up.

My tutoring style is patient, structured, and adaptable. I meet students where they are, work at their pace, and always aim to make learning engaging and relevant. I believe in breaking big goals into small, achievable steps and creating an environment where students feel heard, supported, and motivated to keep growing.
