Certified Tutor

I graduated from Boston University with a bachelors in neuroscience in August 2024. I graduated within 3 years, which allowed me to allocate more time to prepare for applying to medical school this upcoming cycle. After recently taking the MCAT, I decided to take on tutoring as a way to take advantage of the time I spent relearning all the science classes I took in college.

I first began tutoring in high school where I tutored Algebra 2. I fell in love with teaching, which lead me to continue my tutoring journey throughout college. At my university, I mentored students on research opportunities around campus, resume building as a pre-med and pre-grad, and neuroscience electives. This gave me the opportunity to not only teach neuroscience-related content, but to also provide support for those looking to pursue a degree after graduating.

Currently, I tutor a variety of levels of math, statistics, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and physics. I also help with standardized testing such as SAT math. As a tutor, I value a committed relationship with my students, and I aim to provide a tailored lesson plan that best fits their capabilities.

I believe that a good tutor will be patient with their students and provide them with an atmosphere that is challenging but encourages them to have fun while learning!
