Gabriel: Greenburgh tutor
Certified Tutor
I was born and raised for 18 years in Geneva, Switzerland, which is how I became fluent in French. I am also Italian, and I became conversationally fluent in Italian from learning from my Italian mom. I recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Public Policy degree, where I primarily focused on the topics of education policy, refugee/immigration policy, and international development. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Government (Political Science) and Mathematics from Bowdoin College. In both undergrad and graduate school, I have extensively built my statistical tool set and consider Statistics to be my best expertise within mathematics. I have a very wide range of skills in statistics, from foundational probability calculations to graduate-level statistical tests such as paired sample t-tests.
During my time in undergrad, I gained experience in being a French tutor. When tutoring French, I am most passionate in building learners' conversational abilities in French as well as their written expertise. Two key teaching tools I use are virtual notepads and exposure to French music to learn key conversational phrases.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing piano and soccer.

One of my main interests is music; I play the piano and the ukulele. I also love playing sport. I grew up playing soccer/football and still play it as well as play pickleball.
