As an experienced educator with a background in teaching upper elementary English Language Arts and Social Studies, I am passionate about helping students grow into confident, capable learners. Over the past seven years, I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of learners from gifted students to those needing extra support and I pride myself on creating a safe, encouraging space where students feel empowered to take risks and succeed.

I earned my degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, and I've continued to sharpen my instructional skills through years in the classroom and beyond. I specialize in tutoring reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and elementary-level social studies. I especially love working with students on reading and writing because it's where we can build critical thinking, spark creativity, and boost confidence all at once.

My tutoring style is warm, flexible, and highly personalized. I understand that every learner is unique, and I take pride in meeting students where they are adapting lessons to fit their needs, learning styles, and even interests. Whether a student thrives on structure or needs a more relaxed, encouraging approach, I tailor our sessions to bring out the best in them.
