I am a rising junior at the College of William and Mary majoring in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. I can tutor pretty much all math subjects ranging from basic addition and subtraction through Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus. I also have some experience in tutoring high school chemistry and editing essays. However, the subjects I'm the most passionate about are Algebra and Calculus (including Pre-Calc). The concepts learned in these courses are some of my favorite things to tutor because of how well they all fit together--like a really cool puzzle. In the past, I've tutored elementary school students, middle school students, and high school students, so I have experience with most age groups, and I greatly enjoy tutoring all of them! Learning is different for everybody, so I generally have a couple different ways of explaining concepts that I'll go through and help students obtain a fuller picture of the concept. I am a firm believer that understanding the "why" of an idea is crucial to being able to solve any type of problem, and so this is something I greatly emphasize and focus on when tutoring. In my free time, I love to read, play the piano, sing, and go on adventures with my friends!
