Certified Tutor

I have a master's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and a bachelor's degree in veterinary science. For my master's program, I studied immunology, statistics, microbiology as minor subjects. Currently I am in the final semester of the Biotechnology Technician diploma program at Conestoga College, Canada and I will be completing it in April 2025.

When I was an undergraduate, I developed a great passion to teach high school and undergraduate students. Hence, I worked as a part time tutor for nearly 4 years. I taught biology and chemistry for the high school students. After graduation, I became a full time, permanent college lecturer and I taught biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, microbiology and biotechnology for over three years. I have always continued my tutoring sessions to high school and undergraduate students amidst my full-time job because I enjoy imparting my knowledge to the students who will be the future leaders of the world. While I tutor a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about biology and chemistry, including biochemistry. Biochemistry is full of complicated metabolic pathways, and my favourite part is to breakdown them into small and simple steps and teach students, so that the students can grab them easily. In addition to that, I tutor high school and middle school science, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology and immunology.

Most rewarding feeling I've ever experienced is when one of my struggling students obtained highest marks for chemistry and biology at the final exam. Throughout the journey, I provided his with unwavering support, motivation and guidance to pave his way towards success. My teaching style is customized to each and every student as I believe that each student is unique in their learning ability. I conduct enjoyable tutoring sessions as I strongly think that happy students learn more. I am an empathetic and kind mentor with excellent teaching skills.
