Education possesses transformative power, and this fuels my passion for helping students. As Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"a truth I've seen reflected in every student I've had the privilege to support. Throughout my life, I've naturally stepped into leadership roles in group settings, always prioritizing collaboration and lifting others alongside me. At the University of Alberta, where I study civil engineering, I assist fellow students in challenging subjectsalways with a willingness to help and a focus on building self-discipline and confidence. Math holds special meaning for me because it rewards tenacity and sharpens problem-solving skills, and I find genuine joy in guiding others toward those breakthrough moments of clarity.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in patience, empathy, and adaptability. I recognize that every student learns in their own way, so I meet them where they arewhether that means simplifying concepts, walking through hands-on examples, or offering encouragement when they need it most. I strive to make learning accessible, empowering, and even enjoyable. Beyond academics, I pursue music, maintain an active lifestyle through fitness, and am deeply passionate about sustainable infrastructure-interests that keep me grounded and help me connect with people both inside and outside the classroom.
