I know how difficult it can be to start an academic assignment. Whether you have to compose a personal statement or analyze a poem, setting your many ideas into motion can feel overwhelming in the beginning. I'll show you how to overcome this roadblock and equip you with foundational rhetorical analysis and craft skills that you'll use in all of your writing projects.
I'm an honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned a BA in Law, Criminal Justice, and Society with minors in Creative Writing and Sociology. As a Teaching Assistant for an English Composition class at Pitt, I worked towards developing students' writing and analytical skills. Through the years, I gained writing experience in a variety of craft types. From poetry and creative non-fiction to policy issue briefs and argumentative essays, this wide range of styles has given me an edge in literary insight and expertise. Understanding how to use stylistic strategies and embolden your writing voice lets you grow immensely as a writer and a thinker.
I tutor middle school, high school, and college-level writing and essay editing, but I'm interested in a variety of topics. My creative writing concentration was in poetry, and my favorite classes have always been focused on art, history, and public policy.
While I'm currently studying for the LSAT, I have many interests beyond academics. Finding new cooking recipes, playing drums and guitar, watching new TV shows, and spending time with friends and family keep my days exciting, and I'm always searching for new travel destinations to visit!

Music has always been a creative outlet for me, and even though it’s been some time since I’ve played anything in front of an audience, it's always fun to jump on the drum set or the guitar and jam! I discovered a passion for cooking, so I'm always thinking up new recipes or looking for new restaurants in my city. This is true especially when I’m traveling. I studied abroad in Barcelona and loved exploring cool food spots, beaches, and the natural beauty of the regions I’ve traveled to. It's important to balance your academic goals with your interests and passions, and it's even better to branch out and explore new ones!
