I am a graduate of the University of Oxford in England, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. While I have experience in academic research, I wanted to pursue my true passion in education.

I am a certified educator (Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics), and I have 11 years of classroom experience, with 3 of those years focused entirely on teaching virtually.

Overall, my time as a teacher has taught me that students learn best when the subject becomes fun, interesting, or applied to their everyday life; it's my goal to give my students support that is always positive and engaging.

I love teaching "tricky" topics, and breaking down difficult concepts into simple ideas and steps. Most of my tutoring includes visual aids, mnemonic devices, and using color to support learning. I have spent most of my career helping students prepare for standardized testing, and making sure that they feel confident and prepared for any challenge!
