I grew up and completed my education in Ohio. I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Akron, and am working towards my bachelor's degree in Theology at the University of Belgrade, after which I plan to enroll in a Masters program specializing in Depression and Anxiety. I have been tutoring young children, teens, and adults for the last 8 years, specializing in English (reading, comprehension, writing, and vocabulary) while also providing training in Psychology and History. As a teacher, I strive for understanding. The most important thing for a student is to understand what they are learning. While memorization is important, I find that taking the time to break down all the parts of a problem and learning slowly but efficiently helps the student retain more knowledge. Outside of the classroom I enjoy watching movies, photography, and sports.
