Practical, Fun, and Culturally Rich Korean Learning
I have over 20 years of experience teaching Korean, including 10 years in North America and seven years as a lecturer at the Universit de Montral. I have worked with learners of all levelsfrom beginners just starting with Hangul to advanced students aiming to refine their fluency. My teaching also spans university students, high school credit course participants, and young heritage learners eager to connect with Korean culture. In addition, I have extensive experience teaching elementary and middle school students, which has given me a deep understanding of the Korean language and cultural content most engaging and relevant for their age. This enables me to design lessons that are not only effective but also motivating and age-appropriate.
Beyond the classroom, I have served for eight years as a Korean proficiency tester for Canadian diplomats, specializing in intermediate to advanced interviews. I have also developed reading materials for official language assessments, which has strengthened my ability to design structured and effective lessons tailored to each learner's needs.
I use practice resources and methodologies I have personally developed and proven successful in my teaching. This ensures that every lesson is systematic, highly effective, and fully adapted to each student's learning goals.
My classes are interactive, supportive, and practical, filled with real-life examples and cultural insights. Whatever your motivationK-pop, K-Drama, K-food, K-relationship, or K-businessyou can explore and learn it all with me. With my guidance, you'll gain confidence in Korean communication and enjoy discovering the richness of Korean language and culture in a fun and motivating way.

Opening Doors with Language, Building Bridges with Culture I love learning new languages and connecting with people from different cultures. My Korean classes are fun, practical, and culturally rich, helping students gain both confidence and motivation. I enjoy swimming, running, and marathon training to build persistence and energy, and I bring vitality into my life through self-development books as well as Korean dramas and films.
