Hello! I am Desha, a current undergraduate student at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON. I am currently working toward a BA in Political Science, and have three years of previous tutoring experience. I work with children from kindergarten to high school in English and French. I love encouraging learners to feel confident in their abilities, even when they make mistakes, so that they are able to continue achieving their academic goals long after our sessions are over. I like to use the student's interests and strengths to engage their attention and further motivate them in a way that they find amusing, this has proven to be successful and also quite fun. Outside of school, I enjoy reading about neurology and mental health, as well as Transformers and other sci-fi movies!
