I earned my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Biology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. My educational background provides me with a strong foundation in the sciences, mathematics, and analytical thinking. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a research assistant, which further developed my problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

I specialize in tutoring chemistry, biology, mathematics, test preparation, as well tools like Microsoft Excel, and basic computer programming.
I love breaking down complex chemical processes into understandable steps and watching students gain confidence as concepts click into place. My approach focuses on building foundational understanding while making learning engaging and accessible.

My teaching philosophy centers on patience, clear communication, and adapting to each student's learning style. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. Having supervised teams and trained colleagues professionally, I understand how to explain technical concepts in simple terms.

Outside of academics, I have taught Irish dance to students of all ages for many years which has given me valuable experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. This background helps me connect with students and maintain their engagement during tutoring sessions.
