Gabrielle: Manhattan tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a recent graduate of Vassar College, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education with a minor in Sociology. My career as an educator began when I worked as a science communicator and STEM Camp coordinator, where I discovered my love for working with students and helping them engage with complex concepts in creative ways; I've been passionate about the power of education and its role in shaping students' futures ever since. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to tutor a wide range of students in various subjects and settings.
While I enjoy working across a variety of topics, I'm especially passionate about helping students improve their writing and mathematical skills! I aim to help students develop a deeper understanding and intuition for the material, as opposed to focusing on rote memorization. Ensuring that course content is accessible to all of my students is also a priority for me, and I enjoy collaborating with students to find an approach to learning that works for them.
In my downtime, I'm usually reading, drawing, singing, and playing racquetball- or trying to, at least. I'm looking forward to working with you!

When I’m not tutoring, I’m often painting, sketching, or reading. I’m also a fan of creative and analytical writing, and recently started channeling those skills into crafting thoughtful reviews and analyses of films and other forms of media!
