Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and Ashland University, with an undergraduate degree in journalism and a MA in communication. In my full-time work, I have been a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, and public relations consultant. I also teach as an adjunct professor at Xavier University. I am passionate about writing and love the opportunity to share my skills and experience with students I tutor. I like to link the work my students to to real world situations, making it more relevant. I also like to have students do fun activities to find new ways to look at writing and engage with the content. When I'm not teaching or working, I like to spend time with my family, riding my bike or reading.
