Hi Everyone!

My name is Lauren. I use she/her pronouns and I live in Bristol, CT with my own 4 kiddos. I have been teaching for over 20 years and I can't wait to get to know YOU - my newest student!

A little more about my background - I have two degrees in Education. The first is an elementary generalist degree with a focus on Reading Intervention, which means that I am certified to teach any subject for elementary aged students, but I particularly have a lot of experience teaching kids to read, helping kids that might need a little extra help with reading, or just nerding out about books with kids and teenagers who love to read. As part of that phase of my journey, I also pursued additional certification in Language Arts and History for secondary students, so I've also done a lot of teaching tweens and teens in those subject areas. In fact, I taught at an in person middle school for 8 years of my career.
