Certified Tutor

I am currently a senior at the University of Maryland, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I also have a strong background in the arts! I have won two national-level Scholastic Art and Writing Gold Key awards, but more importantly, visual arts are one of my lifelong passions. I'm very excited to share my knowledge and skills with the next generation of students!

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with students of various ages and backgrounds. I have served as a peer mentor for a microbiology research lab, a middle-school tutor, and a summer camp counselor. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, clear communication, and being a supportive, warm, resource for students.

I tutor a range of subjects, but am most passionate about biology, life sciences, and visual arts. I enjoy helping students break down complex concepts and projects into manageable pieces and connecting the material to real-world ideas. My goal is to make learning accessible and enjoyable, and I strive to adapt my tutoring style to fit the unique needs of each student!
