As a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, I have cultivated a strong foundation in both mathematics and science.
My tutoring journey began in high school, where I provided support in subjects ranging from algebra and geometry to biology and chemistry. This experience has evolved into over two years of tutoring, where I specialize in mathematics up to calculus and various science disciplines.
I am passionate about teaching math because I believe it is the fundamental language of science, and I love guiding students through the process of understanding and applying mathematical concepts to solve real-world problems.
My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive environment where students can actively engage in problem-solving, allowing them to build confidence and mastery. I encourage students to reflect on their mistakes and learn from them, creating a personalized learning experience that promotes continuous growth. Ultimately, I am motivated by the opportunity to inspire students to appreciate the beauty of math and science in their everyday lives.
