Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of West Chester University in Pennsylvania. I have a Masters of Secondary Education from them. I have spent the last 8 years at PA Virtual Charter School teaching my favorite course of Biology. I also teach AP Environmental Science. I am most passionate about teaching these two courses because Biology is the study of life and Environmental Science is teaching students how to be great stewards of our planet. I have traveled to many places over the course of my life to either ski or to spend time with my family.
My past and current experiences provide a large knowledge base to draw upon as I create lessons and work with the students. This invaluable experience gives the students the opportunity to learn about real world experiences and relate them to the lessons being learned. It will also allow me to teach and create lessons based on this experience and will provide a strong foundation to display the relevance of actual events with knowledge learned in the classroom. I have worked at The Franklin Institute and am used to utilizing inquiry-based education techniques to provide interactive learning to students of all age groups
