I believe that with the right guidance and resources, ANY student can find academic success. As a pre-med student, I am passionate about peer learning and attribute much of my success to my fellow students! I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience, along with minors in biology and exercise science at the University of Texas at Dallas. At UT Dallas, I am a teaching assistant and tutor for the Exercise Physiology course. In the past, I served as a mathematics tutor at my high school. My other teaching interests include biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and SAT prep. I believe that tutoring should be catered to the student's strengths and weaknesses in the relevant course. The more a tutor understands these qualities about a student, the better tailored the experience would be for the student. Additionally, I believe that a tutor should understand the teaching style of their student's teacher and complement it per the needs of the student. With the right assistance, any student can find confidence and enjoyment in their schooling!
