Hello! My name is Mel, and I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with three degrees from UCLA: a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Legal Studies in Health Law and Policy. With years of experience teaching biology at UCLA and tutoring students from 9th grade through college senior level, I've worked with a variety of learners on topics ranging from foundational biology to advanced life sciences concepts.

In addition to academic tutoring, I've guided students through the college admissions process, offering tailored support for crafting compelling essays that reflect their unique voices.
