Teaching has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I see it as a way for me to help others and to foster my skills as well. I have worked at a Kumon for about 3 years before, and I've always enjoyed helping out my peers in the classes I am strong at.

I'm currently studying Psychology for my Bachelors degree at Rutgers University.

My favorite subjects to tutor are Psychology, English, and AP Literature, since those are my biggest interests and my strongest subjects. I love the complexities of all these subjects. For Psychology, I love learning about the brain and understanding the disorders, and why human behavior is the way it is. For Literature, I love analyzing characters, writing structure, and prose. Writing essays is enjoyable to me, especially if I have more freedom like I did in AP Literature.

I would say my tutoring style can be whatever you need it to be. I am very flexible since I believe teaching should be tailored to an individual's needs, to yield the best results. Even when it comes to large groups, I think there are definitely ways to be engaging and making sure that all students are understanding the information effectively. I am extremely passionate about making sure students are comfortable and understanding the material, since I understand how hard it is to not have the best learning experiences.
