I am passionate about helping students unlock their potential in technology, particularly in SQL, programming (Python, Blocky), and web development. My journey began with a B.A. in Microbiology, which provided a solid foundation in analytical thinking, but my professional path led me into information technology where I've spent over a decade enhancing data analytics, SQL programming, and web development. I have extensive, real-world experience from implementing software solutions in financial services and health insurance, where I've developed complex SQL queries, managed data quality, and web development, which I now bring to tutoring.

My tutoring experience includes two years of guiding high school students through their academic challenges, adapting my teaching to suit various learning styles, with a philosophy centered around practical application and problem-solving.

My favorite subjects to tutor are SQL and Python, as they offer clear, immediate feedback and are pivotal in today's data-driven world, allowing students to see the direct impact of their learning. My tutoring style is adaptive and hands-on, encouraging students to explore, make mistakes, and learn in a supportive environment, which mirrors the dynamic nature of technology and data management.
