I am a college student at the competitive Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute studying computer science. My focus is in Machine learning and Data Science and through my coursework I have developed my skills in mathematics and programming. I have experience tutoring pre-algebra and English to Spanish speakers. I teach with a focus on understanding the most basic principles and building from there. If the problem requires knowing high level topics, I take the problem apart and ensure each subset is understood. Once the student can teach the subject or formulate their own problems and solutions, this is an indication that they have a good understanding of the topic.
