As a Physical Therapist, I am passionate about facilitating learning and understanding in human anatomy and physiology and human biology. I have a love for teaching want to share my knowledge to help others understand difficult concepts.
As a student not too long ago myself, I remember what it feels like to be overwhelmed and stressed by school; I remember not knowing how or what to study to improve my understanding and performance in difficult classes. Being in school is no joke (especially at the undergraduate and graduate level). One thing that helped tremendously, however, was engaging in group study and one-on-one tutoring. From struggling in my classes to passing difficult subjects with flying colors, I fully recognize the power of specialized tutoring and group study.
Fast forward a few years and I became a student lab assistant at PT school for the 1st and 2nd year classes. I helped students understand and master concepts in the same subjects that I struggled with a few years earlier.
In 2021, I graduated with my doctorate in Physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis and I now work full- time as a Physical Therapist in the inpatient rehabilitation setting. I currently accept two PT students every year for clinical rotations as well as teach several classes at my workplace for new employees. Though these learning opportunities are fantastic, I still have the desire to help other students in the academic setting.
My expertise revolve around human performance, human biology and anatomy and physiology. In addition to this, I also love tutoring PT students in preparation for the NPTE.
I am a strong believer that anyone can achieve academic success provided they have the right tools, learning methods, and concepts presented in a way that is digestible and applicable. I believe that the secret to mastering difficult topics/concepts in school is rooted in concrete knowledge that is then applied to specific examples for additional reinforcement. It is imperative that the tutor listen to the the concerns of all learners and creates individualized lesson plans that are tailored to the learning style of each student.
I am excited to help students achieve their full potential and reach their academic goals as someone once did for me!

I love to stay active in my free-time. This can look like a lot of different things, but more recently, this looks like running marathons and completing triathlons! I also love to dance (though I’m a total beginner) and attend hip hop dance classes twice a week. Aside from that, I also love to read a good book from time-to-time; I find myself enjoying a good rainy day spent on the couch with a good novel.
