Certified Tutor

While attending Reinhardt University, I held a work study position as a student tutor primarily in music theory, writing, and algebra. Those continue to be my prefered subjects because of my background in music and storytelling, as well as my deep interest for mathematics. Since graduating with my BFA in musical theater, I have worked in the education department at the World of Coca-Cola and as a teaching artist for young children at the Center for Puppetry Arts. Outside of this, I am also a singer, dancer, actress, visual artist, graphic designer, music composer, puppeteer, and beginner pianist. I am passionate about helping students because I know how it feels to struggle in a course without understanding why or knowing how to improve. Writing was not my best field of study at first, yet who knew I would eventually be able to help other students in that discipline? My main effort when working with students is to provide the necesary tools to problem-solve rather than simply giving away answers. I believe it is important to allow students to truly believe in and strengthen their own intellect and create an environment where they are truly allowed to learn and grow.
