I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University with a degree in Biology. I have extensive experience in STEM mentorship and teaching, and I am passionate about helping students develop confidence within STEM fields. Throughout my four years at Emory, I have been involved in science education research, exploring how to enhance the mentorship for young students in STEM. I have presented my findings at the National Association for Research in Science Teaching conference and engaged with experts in the field to develop effective mentorship strategies for STEM students. In addition to my research in science education, I have also excelled academically, consistently making the Dean's List and serving as a TA and tutor to my peers. Throughout my undergraduate career, I served as a TA for introductory Biology courses and also worked as a mentor and science tutor for refugee students. I have a strong background in biology, and I have spent the last three years leading research studies in cancer immunology and studying pancreatic cancer. My extensive research experience has not only enhanced my understanding of science's practical applications in the lab, but has also honed my skills in scientific writing and communication. My background equips me with the expertise needed to support students in all their STEM pursuits. I am eager to help students excel in their science courses, guide them through their research projects, and foster a love for learning.
