I am a dedicated tutor with a background in Molecular Genetics and Translational Medicine. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa and my Master of Science from the University of Toronto, where my research focused on inflammatory diseases. Alongside my studies, I developed a passion for mentoring students, particularly in biology, chemistry, research methods, and MCAT preparation, helping them build confidence in complex scientific concepts.
My tutoring style is patient, adaptable, and interactive, emphasizing critical thinking and clear communication. As a crisis responder, I have honed my ability to explain concepts in a calm and supportive manner, making learning more accessible. I also have a deep appreciation for reading and writing, hosting book clubs that foster discussion and analytical thinking. These experiences allow me to help students strengthen their scientific writing and verbal reasoning skills.
Beyond tutoring, I am a professional dancer and an avid boxer, both of which have taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of continuous growth - values I bring to my teaching. I believe education should be engaging and empowering, and I strive to create an encouraging learning environment where students can thrive.

I love reading and talking about books, so I run a book club where we dive into exciting stories and big ideas! I also enjoy dancing and boxing-they keep me active and teach me discipline and focus. When I’m not moving or reading, I’m helping people as a crisis responder, which has made me a great listener and communicator. I’m also a big fan of science and love learning about new discoveries. In my free time, you’ll probably find me outside exploring, trying new workouts, or getting lost in a good book!
