I am super passionate about education! In the years I have worked with students, one of the most fulfilling experiences is helping a student understand a concept that is difficult for them. I was previously a tutor and instructor with the Indians into Medicine (INMED) program at the University of North Dakota where I tutored undergraduates and medical students in a variety of subjects. I also got the opportunity to be an instructor for their MCAT course for two years as well before I went on to pursue my higher education as an MD/PhD student! I have a BS in Chemistry with a Biochemistry Emphasis and Humanities through the University of North Dakota and have worked with many students both young and old throughout my life. I currently volunteer within my community as a mentor to high school students interested in medicine and other career fields. In my work as a tutor, I strive to find resources that work for every learning style and want to make sure a student's tutoring is personalized to them.
