I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in General Business. After graduating from college, I enter the business world by becoming a Corporate Trust Associate. Even though I excelled in the position I still felt like I was missing something. What I was missing was Purpose!!! I need my life to be more than just making money, I want to make a difference.
After less than two years in the business world, I transitioned into my calling and purpose. I've been teaching different courses of math for 17 years. I've taught general math for grades 4-8 and also higher levels such as Algebra I and Geometry. I aspire to create student-centered learning environments in which the student is in the driving seat of their own learning. I will always focus on the specific needs of my students. I work hard to differentiate learning so that each student's unique skills are emphasized.
