I am a graduate of Liberty University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Integrated Studies with a focus on English. Since graduation, I have taught for four years in first grade, fourth grade, and 7-12th grade. I also have tutoring experience with elementary reading comprehension, phonics instruction, vocabulary, and math, as well as tutoring experience for high school English. While I have a range of teaching and tutoring experience, I really enjoy helping students develop the fundamentals of reading and math. I enjoy getting to know my students so that I can learn how to best encourage them in their learning process. Outside of teaching/tutoring, I enjoy running, strength training, gardening, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
