I am a current student at Tufts University studying Applied Mathematics. I have been working with children over the past few years in multiple scenarios. While I was in high school, I volunteered on the weekends to play games and organize activities for disabled children. I have also volunteered to teach a fifth grade class the basic ideas of financial responsibility. Most recently, I worked as a camp counselor where I managed a group of 23 boys entering first grade. I am very passionate about the field of mathematics, and it is my goal to make the subject less daunting. Stereotypically, math has been treated as a difficult and sometimes unaccessible subject, but I want to change that and show that math is extremely interesting and doesn't have to to be so confusing!

I spend most of my spare time on a tennis court, on a soccer pitch, or watching those sports on TV. On top of that, I am almost always listening to music of almost every genre. A fun fact about myself is that I can solve a Rubik’s cube in less than thirty seconds.
