Because I am involved in a child's education, I feel a sense of deep joy. It is exciting that I am contributing to educating our country's next generation.

I enjoy working with students and seeing them grow and learn. The best part of teaching for me is when a lightbulb moment occursthe day the student gets it, and all the pieces fall into place. It's as exciting today as the first day I started 17 years ago.

I have a national CDA, an Associate of Science degree in Early childhood education, and a Bachelor of Science in Early childhood education. I am an honorary member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I am currently in the Masters of Education Program: Curriculum and Development.

I tutor reading and Math K-3rd.

For me, reading is a fundamental skill; if kids can read, they can learn anything else. Phonics is vital in reading, and I enjoy teaching it.

I must confess firmly: I believe that each child has something special to offer his education. I will try to help my pupils express themselves, acknowledge themselves, and accept other people around them as they are, with their own characteristics.

Apart from teaching, I cook and garden, travel with family, do crafts, and enjoy traveling.
