I have spent the last eight years studying biochemistry and will soon complete my Master's in Chemistry. Over the past four years, I've served as a teaching assistant and lab director for all lower-level chemistry courses available at the University of Arkansas, primarily teaching honors level general chemistry 2 and organic chemistry. Most of my experience has been with college students, where I've worked closely with individuals to help them better understand and succeed in their coursework.

I tutor all areas of chemistry, but biochemistry is my favorite. It's the subject that sparked my interest in science in high school and ultimately inspired my career path. I've always been fascinated by how complex systems in our cells operate with such precision, and I enjoy helping students see the beauty and logic behind those processes.

As a tutor, I'm both enthusiastic and patient. I believe in adapting my approach to fit my students' learning stylewhether that means breaking down tough concepts, reviewing practice problems, or prepping for exams. Because I've struggled in classes myself, I know how intimidating science can feel, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel confident and empowered.

Outside of academics, I love hiking and have a goal to visit every national park in the U.S. I also enjoy cooking and bakingespecially dessertswhich feels like chemistry in action.
