I began my studies at Elgin community college in 2001 and graduated in 2002. I continued my academic studies at Governor's State University where I obtained my bachelor degree in Chemistry and my masters degree in Analytical Chemistry in 2009 & 2012, respectively. I've also worked as a teacher assistant in several science disiplines during my undergraduate and graduate studies and as a quality Auditor and quality control and assurance lab technician in different chemical manufacturing industries for over 15 years. In 2016, I taught chemical foundations at the junior college level when I decided to pursue a teaching degree and in 2021 I graduated from University of Phoenix with a master's degree in Secondary Education teacher in Physics and have worked as a teacher for 7 years with children in the elementary, middle and high school grades.
