I am passionate about helping students because I know that there are no wrong questions, learning is about making mistakes and doing the best you can to come to your own understanding and knowing! Learning is a life long endeavor for all of us!

I am a Canadian citizen and I have 3 adult children, I enjoy nature, swimming, biking, yoga, gardening and travel. I have studied at and worked for many universities across Canada before and after I had my own children. I enjoy working in-person and online with students and families to support personal and academic well-being.

What subjects do you tutor?
I tutor subjects in: Elementary and Junior High core subjects. High School English as a Second Language, Literacy, Social Sciences, Psychology. I have previously tutored High School students in English and other subjects.
My teaching philosophy is based on a person-centered, empowerment and ownership belief and my style of tutoring is solution focused with a focus on personal empowerment, encouragement and ownership of their work.
My favorite subjects are in English, Social Sciences and Arts. However, I enjoy learning and problem solving in all subjects!
